My good friend, Chris Besaw, and I made our way to Clifton Park, NY (near Albany) to see the scum dogs of the universe: GWAR.
We both LOVE GWAR and see them every chance we get. They will always have a special place in MY shriveled, blackened heart because GWAR was the first band to ever do an interview with me for this site, way back in 2001.

We were supposed to interview Oderus earlier in the night, but we were brought back just beofre the show, and they brought Oderus in, to speak with me, and hilarity insued. Here is the funny TomAroundTheWorld.com interview with GWAR front thing Oderus Urungus, with a special appearance by the band's newest member: Pustulus Maximus, who takes the place of Flattus Maximus.
This interview was recorded on Nov. 14, 2013 at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, NY as part of GWAR's Madness At The Core Of Time tour, in support of their newest release Battle Maximus. The tour also featured Whitechapel, a six-piece death metal outfit from Knoxville, TN, Iron Reagan, a Hardcore Punk Metal band from Richmond, VA, and A Band Of Orcs, which is exactly what they are: a band of Orcs playing blistering Metal! |
