Don Scott, Me, & Luke (Patchen) Montgomery

Being an employee of the Tusk means that I get a large dose of "jam-band-type" music every day. After nearly a year of being there, I have developed a taste for a lot of the bands. To actually sit down with one of the bands was very cool.
The band Strangefolk played in Syracuse with Government Mule at the Landmark Theatre.
After the show, the keyboard player (Don) and guitar player (Luke) stopped over to The Blue Tusk. We sat, chatted, and had a few beers. They were really great guys.
I checked out their site and a few of their tunes. Good stuff. They will be playing in Syracuse again at Armory High on April 2. They are on tour with Big Wu and it should be a fun evening. Seeing how it is my night off, I will be there and if you get the chance you should too!
