Vocalist Tom Carpenter is in rehearsal stage with his new band, The Drunk Vicars, who are expected to debut this summer. Fleshing out the hard-rock five-piece are bassist Christophe "Shroomer" Ellis, guitarists Justin Wortman and Brandon Smith and drummer Rob "Norty" Norton, of the late local act The Wallmen. "It's a little bit like the {Born Again} Savages, but definitely a lot more fun," says Carpenter of his former band, which he says gave him the boot in March.
